What a busy week Rotary wise.
Sunday was District change over.
Lunch was overlooking a golf course and views of the sea.
Surrounded by lots of happy people.
We got to catch up with Karen and Fraser Purdue, who were home from RI Conference in Toronto. They was buzzing from their experience.
Monday saw me at the Temuka/Geraldine change over.
Another chance to meet many great Rotarians who all work hard for the community.
Tuesday we got to hear about Chris Chambers fun journey with his friend Mel Lewis and the 1929 Austin. It's always great to hear about these adventures when the journeys are filled with fun.
We had a club service meeting afterwards, from which some really interesting speakers were discussed and some fun times to be had.
On a sadder note Margaret Dockrill let us know about Russell's stroke in Bangkok Airport.
I'm sure all our thoughts are with them to help Russell heal so they can fly home soon.
Well it's time to start thinking Hotdogs and Chips
Have a fun week and hope to see you on Tuesday night.
