We have as our guest speaker James Katene this Tuesday. James is a participant in Ironman events and has established 'Kia Kaha Motivation Coaching'. He was provided with assistance from our Charitable Trust.

Come along on Tuesday to hear how James fits the title of “just magic.” Just like Timaru Rotary, he is a member of the special magic club!

Don't forget to bring a non-perishable item along each week (until our second last meeting before Christmas) for donating to 'Family Work' Food Bank to go in the 'Christmas Food Parcels' they will be giving out.

Julie Dockrill is co-ordinating on behalf of our club the PSSC Family Works 'Christmas Angels' project where members can help by getting involved to buy gifts/gift vouchers, experiences etc for a local family (or if enough members involved 'families') in need this Christmas.
A tutor was instructing new recruits when an officer entered his classroom to observe and report on my teaching style. He thought he was on top of his game that day, but the officer was quite scrupulous, as evidenced by the fact that his written evaluation of the tutor cited this issue: “Instructor loses eye contact with class while writing on the blackboard.”

Comedian Martha Raye was a great supporter of the military and made many trips to Vietnam to entertain the troops. She also liked her scotch.
