We can do anything we want to do if we stick to it long enough. - Helen Keller
THANK YOU KING STREET MOTORS
Thanks to King Street Motors for carrying out a Warrant of Fitness inspection of the Hot Dog Caravan at no cost to the Club, and then carrying out some maintenance work, again at no cost to the Club. What great support of our efforts for the community.
Members might like to return the favour by supporting King Street Motors; you'll find them at 143 King Street.

President Hugh's Message.
YO! What’s Cookin; Pumpkins?
Have you ordered your Pumpkin seeds yet? Let’s have a prize for the biggest Pumpkin in Timaru Rotary. I reckon I might find a chocolate frog in my garden among the weeds for that. For the smallest Pumpkin, there could be a chocolate fish in the pond. Whatever just order the seed and get out there and propagate. If you don’t how do you expect to end Polio let alone the Virus.

Liz Nolan from Family Works was along last Tuesday evening to update us on the incredible work they have been up to lately. From the refugee settlement program, food bank supplies, to counselling services - they are an amazing organisation and we love working with them. Keep up the great Mahi team!
It was a lovely surprise for us to receive a certificate of thanks in recognition of our continuous and ongoing support for Family Works South Canterbury.
Charitable Trust Fundraiser Discussion.
Everyone is asked to get their thinking caps on as in the next few weeks there is going to be a tea meeting discussion on possible fundraisers the club can hold to boost our 'Charitable Trust' funds to cover the shortfall that we are experiencing because we have not been able to operate the Hot Dog Caravan under Covid lockdowns.
Information Required.
Remember this is "your" bulletin and so please email information to me on what your committee is doing (or planning) so everyone can be aware of it.
Lack of the above will mean the bulletin is not advising the members of what is happening in the club & particapation will be down.
