Spring Garage Sale.

Delighted to announce that $3500 was raised for Heart Kids and M.S South Canterbury with a few upmarket items still to be sold. A small idea that grew into a club project with all members getting involved which ended in a really fun day. Thanks for all your support. My thanks to Colin and Gilly for allowing us to store the sale items in their garages. Thanks also to Alan Brehaut who put up the Judy Dolman designed posters all over town. Special thanks to Ashley Milliken who helped me to collect and store the items and then with Evelyn priced all the items which seemed to annoy the traders which probably meant we were on the right track. Thanks also to Jeff Elston who spent considerable time sorting out the items of worth.

Dave Woods kindly gave me his thoughts (click here...)
